The following pictures are of the Dellroy Homecoming, held on July of this year, 2007. They were given
to me by Bill Harris and I appreciate his thoughtfulness in sharing them. Anyone having pictures of
Dellroy and the area are welcome to have them entered on the web page.
This dunking machine was a big hit
as you can see. This is Rick
Huffman, fire chief, as he urges
participants to hit the red dot and
give him a dunking.
This is Jim West driving his 1929 Shay
replica car. With him is the Grand
Marshall of the parade, Dale Williams
our Carroll County Sheriff.
This shows the line-up for food after
the parade. The crowd was not as
large as in previous years, but all
enjoyed the day.
This is a view of the new information
boards that greet travelers as they
come into the Village from north,
south, east and west.
And finally, our thanks go out to Earl Ledford, shown below with his daughter, Sharon. Anytime work
is to be done, you will find Earl there. Whether it be a meal, fixing Christmas decorations, directing
traffic for fires, or what have you, Earl will be there. It is people like him who give of their time and efforts
that make Dellroy the community it is! A big thanks go to him for all he does. THANKS EARL!!!!!!!
