The back of this
picture says 1903.
It would be my guess
that it is the Atwood
School as the door
looks familiar with
other pictures.
Students unknown.

The above picture was taken in 2005 after winning their
NSCA Championships for the season. Both are
Dellroy's finest and we are really proud of their
accomplishments.
The three pictures on the right are of the razing of the
house on the corner of North Main and N. Liberty Sts.
The bottom picture shows the last wall coming over.
As of today, it is just a memory.
On May 29, 1976, a dedication was held for the new Veterans' Memorial built at the Monroe Township Community Park.
A gazebo housing the bell from the old Dellroy School building was also erected. Both were dedicated at this time.
In 2007 it was decided to repair the old structure and when started, it was discovered to be beyond repair. The bricks
were crumbling and it all but fell apart. It was decided to completely replace it. Bricks were donated by The Bowerston
Shale Co. at Bowerston. This past weekend the names were placed in the memorial, lights were installed, and new
doors were hung. If you drive by, check it out!
