This picture shows how the area
looked before the lake was put in.
This is where SR 542 comes into town
on the north side.  The house on the
left must be the same house that is
there now.  It seems that each house
had several small buildings and usually
a barn in the back.  This is no longer
true.  Some residences still have small
buildings but they are usually sided
and painted.
The following pictures are of the
streets of Dellroy...mostly of Main
Street.

This one is looking east from the
Smith Street/Main Street
intersection.

Notice the Feed Store on the right.
The small arrow above is where N. Arch Street is.
Notice the street light above.
This picture is from an old newspaper and shows the Catholic Church (later the town hall)
on the right.  The next building is the Feed Store and on up the street you can see the bell
tower of the Methodist Church.  The street looks like pure mud but at least they did have
electricity.
The following pictures are of buildings that have been removed.  Some have been replaced with
new homes and some are just vacant lots now.
This was the only house in Dellroy that
was built on the lot at a diagonal.  All
others sat straight east to west, this
one was from corner to corner.  The
home that replaced it after it burned
was constructed on the square.

This house was the Methodist
parsonage for many years until they
sold it and purchased property on the
lake.
Located on N.Ohio Street where the Bingo                  This little three room house was located on N.Arch St.
Stand of the FD is.

This house was removed and replaced with
another...located on N. Liberty Street.
This house was removed and replaced with another.
It was located on the alley behind the Dairy Queen.
More razed houses follow on
