The next pictures are of the firemen preparing and burning a house the was located off of
SR542 toward the Lodge.  Just outside of Dellroy you turned to the right and the house was
situated near the lake.  I remember an older man and woman and I believe their name was
Slaman(sp).   Again, I would guess the year was in the middle or late 60's.
Thanks to Gwen Day for these four pictures.
The picture to the left is of the
current bed & breakfast on SR39
toward Carrollton.

A strong storm took most of these
beautiful trees and today there are
only a couple there.
View of Dellroy.
Date on the picture
was 1883.

The depot is the
building in lower to
middle right area.
The road leading
into the trees went
to Magnolia.

This article was published in the
Carroll Journal sometime before 1915.
The exact date was not noted but if
discovered, we will change it later.

A gentleman by the name of Wick Fry
was the funeral director before Roy
Davy took over.  Does anyone have a
picture of him or his horse drawn
vehicle?

I have nothing on Mr. Etock either.
Anyone know him?
