I remember when the
homecoming first
started, the ferris wheel
was placed right here
and when you got to
the top, you could look
out over the town. I
also remember one
year when it broke
down and my best
friend and I was
stranded on the top for
hours....scared to
death!
The only thing I can identify in
the picture on the left is the
depot and railroad track. It
must have been taken from a
hill outside of the village toward
Magnolia.
This truck is used by the village to keep the
streets and alleys clear during the winter.
This was Tinlin's gas
station at the corner of
Main and Smith Sts.
Does anyone
remember Virgil
driving the stock car at
Midvale Speedway?
Dean Mast, Baldy
Baker, etc.....
Dwight King
The only one I can identify is Clayton Tope smoking the pipe. If you can
help, please let me know.
