This is a current picture of the United Methodist Church in Dellroy.  Located on the Main
Street of town it is one of three churches in the village.  The lot to the right of the church is
the lot mentioned in one of the razed houses.  To the right of the alley is the building that
once housed grocery stores.
This is the Nazarene Church, located on S.Liberty street or Explorer Road out of the village.  It is
situated in the corporation limits.  Just recently extensive remodeling was done and the church
building was connected to their fellowship building.  It is truly a beautiful addition.
This is the Christ Community Church.  For years it was the Presbyterian Church.
Recently, however, it almost doubled in size.  The remodeling and addition took a
while to finish, but it was well worth it.  The interior is a beautiful sight,
I have included the three churches as they are now.  The buildings, like our lives,
must continue to improve and show the Glory of God.
And now we go from one example to
another...this is a yearly occurrence in
Dellroy at Halloween.

And I guess, until they cut down this
tree, it will go on.
This building, located on Explorer
Road, south out of Dellroy, no
longer exists.

The structure was built by William
Dayhuff and later purchased by Irvin
Little who operated it for a good
many years.

How many young men remember
their evenings, catching chickens?

And the tales that abound about
their exploits.
A house once stood on the lot on S.
Smith Street and I do not have a
picture of it.  The Fire Department
purchased the house and lot and
razed the house.

They then built the stage and used it
for a lot of years for entertainment
at the homecomings.  Finally, it was
also removed and a vacant lot is
now there.
